My 15 minutes of near-glory
Erik Siwak sprouted up among the corn fields and auto plants of Michigan. He studied English Literature at the University of Michigan. Since relocating to California, he has managed to support himself as a writer, journalist, and occasional contestant on Jeopardy. He has received hundreds of bylines in national and local publications, including San Diego Examiner, In LA, Update, Buzz, Decor & Style, The Blade, and The Gay and Lesbian Times. In his free time, he likes to watch tennis and play the French horn. His goal in life is to see every film ever nominated for the Best Picture Oscar. He does not usually write about himself in the third person.
